40 children from vulnerable families from Moldova's remotest villages were offered free trips to the summer camp Sparta in Crimea by the charitable organization Clipa Siderala. “Each year we conduct six social campaigns destined for children from vulnerable families living in remote areas of our country. In the winter we have the Sleighs of Hope campaign and the Christmas Caravan, and now in the summer, we offer children this opportunity to go to a summer camp in Ukraine. These are children from really vulnerable families, living in very difficult conditions. Some of them live in houses without window panes and proper roofing”, Clipa Siderala representative Silvia Bradutan told Info-Prim Neo. The children that were given this opportunity were selected through questionnaires distributed among social assistants in rural areas. The assistants were asked to describe the situations of children from the most vulnerable families, without being told the purpose of this information. The summer camp Sparta in Crimea was specially created for children without parental care and children from vulnerable children. Since 1997, more than 80 Moldovan children get the opportunity to spend their summer vacation each year.
