The Chisinau heat supplier announced that 379 apartments and 8 cars have been sequestrated because of debts for heat. The bad payers have a total debt of over 1.2 million lei, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from SA Termocom, another 34 persons who accumulated debts of over 41,000 lei for heat during the 2012-2013 heating season had their property sequestrated. As many as 112 new court decisions have been issued this week over debts of over 40 million lei.

If the debts are not cleared within the period of time given by the bailiff, the vehicles and the apartments will be sold. Last week, 86 persons with a total debt of over 12 million lei settled this debt.

SA Termocom asks those with debts to immediately pay them so as to avoid being sued and having their property confiscated.
