Thirty-six students will be awarded at the Gala of Students Native of Moldova “Academic Excellence for Moldova”. Prizes will be offered in 11 categories, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué of the Bureau for Diaspora Relations.
In the Central and Eastern Europe (Bachelor’s degree) category there will be awarded Daria Copil, Luminita Gabura and Eugeniu Guzun. In the Central and Eastern Europe (Master’s degree) category, the nominees are Mircea Meriacri, Stefania Spetetchi and Alexei Zubarev. Diana Oprea, Ileana Partachi and Ion Vrabie are the nominees in the Central and Eastern Europe (Doctorate) category.
In the Western Europe (Bachelor’s degree) category, there were nominated Cristian Cerneanu, Tatiana Darie and Dan Perciun. In the Western Europe (Master’s degree) category, the nominees are Mircea-Ion Calugaru, Amir Fakeeh and Marin Roscovan. Corina Cojocaru, Olga Gherbovet and Olga Turcan will be awarded in the Western Europe (Doctorate) category.
In the United States and Canada (Bachelor’s degree) category, prizes will be given to Felicia Belostecinic, Eugen Ghiletski and Dorian Margineanu. In the United States and Canada (Master’s degree) category, there were selected Ana Bivol and Mihai Ciorba. In the United States and Canada (Doctorate) category, the awardees are Victor Buza, Michaela Dragalin and Eugeniu Plamadeala.
Dorin Gutu, Lidia Sanduleac and Andrei Panzaru are the nominees in the Rest of the World category, while Maria Sumareva, Mircea Mitrofan and Cristina Godoroja – in the Arts category.
Irina Burlacu, Iulian Gramatski, Dorel Obada and Victor Vintu were nominated for the “Sympathy of the Piloting Team” Prize.
As many as 200 students filed applications to take part in the contest. The jury that selected the nominees consisted of professors, researchers, businessmen and journalists from Moldova and abroad.
