As many as 354 persons with mild forms of COVID-19 have received treatment at home as of April 10. Twenty-six of them have practically recovered. The information was presented by Tatiana Zatyk, division head for primary medical assistance at the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, IPN reports.
According to Tatiana Zatyk, the collection of samples at home has started, in accordance with the international practice and recommendations of the World Health Organizations. The samples are collected by well-trained and well-equipped mobile teams. Most of the samples at home were taken in the districts of Glodeni, Fălești, Ștefan Vodă and Dubăsari.
As many as 3480 infections with the novel coronavirus have been reported in the Republic of Moldova so far. Almost 900 of these recovered, while for 96 the infection was fatal. A number of 222 persons infected with COVID-19 are in a serious state and 18 of them were put on a ventilator,
