About 35 thousand trees and shrubs will be planted this spring in the capital, part of them on the National Green Day within the “A Tree for our Lastingness” campaign. The news has been announced by the interim chairman of the Green spaces management agency Eliferie Haruta during a City Hall session. According to Haruta, planting works are being operated at wide scale, as well as those for trimming trees and bushes. Also, the flower beds, squares and boulevards are being arranged. The works are to be completed by Eater Holidays. The cited source asserts that 15 sets of equipment for children playgrounds and 550 park benches have been purchased. The activities within the frameworks of the environmental campaign “A Tree for our Lastingness” will be held by the Green Spaces Agency in collaboration with district halls and the Social-Environmental Department of the Chisinau City Hall.
