Thirty-five billboards set up on Dacia Blvd. in Chisinau had been taken away by June 5. According to a communiqué from the Chisinau City Hall, 25 billboards were dismantled voluntarily by 17 companies, while another 10 billboards were taken down by the Botanica district head’s office by force, Info-Prim Neo reports. This April, Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca ordered taking away the billboards placed on Dacia Blvd., between the streets Muncesti and Valea Crucii, until June 1. The City Hall asked the economic entities to voluntarily remove the billboards and lay out the area. Those who didn’t do it will be sued so as to recover the costs incurred by the municipality when taking down the billboards by force There were 110 billboards belonging to 54 companies on that road section.
