If somebody urged them to take part in protests against the current government, 33% of the respondents of the Public Opinion Barometer would take part in demonstrations or strikes staged legally. Another 30% would sign relevant petitions and requisitions. The poll results were presented by the Institute for Public Policy on December 8, IPN reports.
Some 7% of those polled are ready to take part even in illegal protests, 6% – to occupy buildings, 8% – to block streets, while 6% are ready to go on hunger strike in revolt at the current government.
According to the poll, 15% of the respondents during the last five years took part in legal demonstrations and strikes, 10% signed petitions and requisitions, by 2% took part in illegal demonstrations and street blocking, while by 1% resorted to occupation of buildings and hunger strikes.
