30000 ballots for overseas polling stations

30,000 ballot papers will be issued for the 78 polling stations that Moldova will open abroad for the national constitutional referendum on September 5, Info-Prim Neo reports. 17,600 persons are included in the basic voter rolls held by the Moldovan embassies and consulates. 680 voters took the preliminary registration available on-line at www.voteaza.md, and other 8,200 voters registered with embassies and consulates. Central Election Commission Secretary Iurie Ciocan said the voter rolls are ready, with minor errors corrected. A total of 2,659,354 people are eligible to vote in the September 5 referendum.
