About 300 civil lawsuits have been filed to recover debts for heat of about 4 million lei. Last week, Chisinau apartment owners received 370 notices over debts of over 2 million lei, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from SA “Termocom”, the consumers with debts for heat are sued, while the civil cases are processed and submitted to courts by representatives of the residential sector, with the support of the Chisinau heat supplier’s jurists.

Another 319 cases over debts of 2.5 million lei were prepared and are to be sent to court. In the case of 99 apartment owners, there were passed decisions to levy payments for the consumed heat.

As many as 515 applications for issuing orders to recover the debts have been filed to court so far this year. A number of 192 orders were already issued. The administration of SA “Termocom” insistently asks the end-users to pay the debts as soon as possible so as to avoid being sued.
