The Republic of Moldova and Brazil are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. “This is a special occasion for appreciating the Moldovan-Brazilian dialogue and for reaffirming our interest in developing cooperation opportunities in different areas of mutual interest,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
According to the Ministry, in the period the bilateral relations witnessed the initiation and development of important partnerships, including the mutual liberalization of short-stay visas and the signing in 2022 of a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of inter-ministerial political consultations that open up new cooperation opportunities for the benefit of the citizens.
The Ministry noted that Republic of Moldova and the Federative Republic of Brazil have a friendly relationship and the dialogue between the two countries is expected to develop further, offering new options for development and prosperity to the citizens.
The diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Federative Republic of Brazil were established on August 11, 1993.
