3 minors injured in car crashes in capital
Three minors got injured in road accidents that occurred in the capital on Thursday, as a fourth one suffered from sun exposure.
The coordinating-doctor of the Emergency Service from the capital, Evelina Rusu, has told Info-Prim Neo, that the ambulance doctors have helped 159 children, 34 of which are younger than 1 year. Thus the collision between a 4-route trolley and a car, at the intersection of Banulescu-Bodoni and 31 August streets, injured a 8-year-old boy in the trolley. He was taken to the hospital with numerous concussions.
A 14-year-old boy has been taken to the same hospital, severely injured, after his bicycle was hit by a car near Chisinau hotel.
A 9-year-old cyclist got his arm broken after a collision with a car on Vasile Lupu str.
A boy aged 13 called for the ambulance accusing sun exposure after staying for hours on the bank of a lake. The same symptoms were invoked by a man aged 50 who got drunk and slept for a couple of hours under sun.
A 43-year-old chronic alcoholic has died, while another man, aged 53, died because of renal insufficiency.
A woman aged 21 was hit by a 24-route trolley on Mircea cel Batran blvd. She did not feel any pain and went home, but later called for the ambulance. The doctors established she had suffered serious concussions.
The last day and night, Chisinau's Ambulance Service has got 733 calls, 67 related to acute viral infections, 73 cases of trauma, 3 brain strokes and 10 heart strokes.
