3 injured in road accidents on the same street
Three pedestrians, including a teenager, were hit by vehicles on the same street in Chisinau, at a difference of only several hours.
Road Security Service Inspector Ion Roscovanu told Info-Prim Neo that at 8.45, on Ion Creanga Street, a woman, 62, was struck by a Volvo-760. The woman suffered plague of the elbow and mental shock.
The second accident occurred at 11.45, on the same street. A pensioner aged 72 was hit by a Mitsubishi-SpaceWagon. The man suffered fracture of the left ribs and mental shock.
Coordinating doctor of the Chisinau Emergency Service Silvia Babara told Info-Prim Neo that an ambulance was solicited at 14.25 on Ion Creanga Street, where a child aged 7 was hit by a Nisporeni-registered vehicle. The boy was hospitalised at “Valentin Ignatenco” hospital with mental shock.
The road inspectors registered 15 accidents in Chisinau. As a result 3 persons were injured. The road police fined 16 drivers for drunk-driving, 85 for speeding, and 125 for prohibited manoeuvring, and 59 for driving without the seat belt.
