3 die suffocated in fires

Three people died suffocated in fires on July 31. The press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergency Service, Liliana Puscasu, has told Info-Prim Neo, neighbors saw flares and smoke getting out from a house in Durlesti town. The firefighters extinguished the flames affecting 3 rooms. They found the corpse of a the woman owning the house in the kitchen and the body of a man. Both were intoxicated with combustion gas. The fire was lit by a broken electrical heater. A burning cigarette claimed the life of a 34-year-old man in Bumbata village, Ungheni. At about 19.30, the neighbors saw the smoke. Entering the house they found the owner's body as a mat was still smouldering. 7 fires claimed 3 lives on Thursday in Moldova.
