About €28,000 was collected at the third Generosity Gala, which is a charity event intended for Moldovan children. The money will contribute to the inclusion of 14 children with hearing impairments in school by providing them with special hearing aids.

In a press release, the organizers say the sound amplifying devices can help improve the acoustic signal and, respectively, the quality of communication with those around in the learning process. Such a device costs 54,000 lei. This sum is rather large for the families of these children whose inclusion will be a new experience for general education.

The number of guests at the current edition rose to over 500, according to the organizers.

The event was organized by the Association “Child, Community, Family Moldova”, which is the representative office of the British foundation “Hope and Homes for Children”, for the third consecutive year. Over €27,000 was raised within this event last year. This went to finish the construction of the first community house in Chisinau called “Home of Future”, which will house 12 abandoned children with severe disabilities.
