Andrei Spinu, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, has announced a plan for financing 46 regional development projects with a total “record budget” of 280 million lei.

Among the projects included in the Financing Plan are projects for water supply and sanitation, for increasing energy efficiency of kindergartens, schools and hospitals, and construction of wastewater treatment plants.

The approval of the document coincided with the celebration of the Day of Local Autonomy and Local Public Servants today. Local communities and administrations are the beneficiaries of the projects envisaged in the approved document.

“There is a lot of work to be done. I am looking forward to seeing you at the construction sites when work begins on all these projects”, wrote Andrei Spinu, referring to mayors, local councilors and all those in the local administrations involved in implementing the projects.
