A number of 27,030 of the 28,839 candidates admitted to the session passed the Baccalaureate exams, the head of the admission commission Lilia Ivanov said in a meeting with university rectors on July 15, Info-Prim Neo reports. 35% of the total grades were “7”. 209 candidates got “10” on all the exams. As many as 1,809 candidates were rejected because they had an average grade of under “5” or did not take the exams. About 700 persons did not come to the tests. 230 high school students, 927 college students and 590 university students failed the Baccalaureate exams. Most of the students took the exams in Romanian, 5,510 in Russian and only 18 in Ukrainian.
