27 new pharmaceutical products authorized by Medicines Agency

Twenty-seven pharmaceutical products were authorized in the Republic of Moldova by the Medicines Commission of the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency, IPN reports.

Among the authorized medicines are Dovprela 200 mg pills that are used to treat drug- or multidrug-resistant tuberculosis, Santini 10 mg coated pills used to treat arterial hypertension in adults and in teens aged between 6 and 18, and Inovum HCT coated pills used to treat essential hypertension as adjuvant therapy in grownups.

As a result of the recommendations of the Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee, changes were approved in the information concerning the safety of medicines containing Piperacilină+Tazobactam, which are used to treat serious bacterial infections, and also the anticoagulant Warfarin, given the identified side effects.
