260 investment projects will be presented during Moldova Business Week 2010

During the exhibition of investment projects Moldova Business Week 2010, that will last 4 days, the investors will be presented more than 260 projects. The information was revealed by Andrei Timus, CEO of the Moldovan Investment and Export Promotion Organization, during a Radio Moldova show, Info-Prim Neo reports. The projects have been elaborated by ministries and local public authorities. Most of them are social projects- the building or renovation of social centers in districts. The Public Property Agency and North, South and Center regional development agencies will have separate stands. Viorel Chivriga, IDIS Viitorul expert, thinks most of these projects, including those presented by regional agencies, are interesting, quite attractive for investors, but it’s necessary they are promoted efficiently even after this event. The projects exhibition is one of the most important departments of Moldova Business Week 2010, which began Tuesday, June 21, at the Republican Palace. The main goal of this event is to present the investors the new ways of attracting investments Moldova proposes, such as industrial parks, free trade zones or public-private partnerships. Another objective is to enhance the dialogue between investors, authorities and local companies. The European Commission, UNDP and some companies with foreign capital provided the Government with financial and logistical support for the event.
