A passenger bus and a truck collided in Crimea. Six people died and at least 20 others were injured. The truck driver was not hurt, IPN reports.
According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (МЧС России), the Saky - Simferopol bus collided with a truck that was parked by the side of the road, on the Simferopol - Yevpatoriya route.
The bus driver confessed that he was blinded by the sun's rays and thus ran the vehicle into the truck. The tests showed that the driver of the bus was not under the influence of alcohol, according to RBK Russia.
As many as 25 rescuers of emergency crews and nine special vehicles intervened at the scene of the accident.
Russia's Investigative Committee started a criminal case to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident.
