The Cabinet decided to allocate 2.5 million lei for repairing the Orhei apartment building where an explosion destroyed eight apartments on October 18. One man was killed and three were hurt in the blast. According to experts, the resistance structure of the building wasn’t affected so that the block can be reconstructed, IPN reports.
Prime Minister Iurie Leanca said that the home insurance experience of EU states will be analyzed so as to identify a mechanism for paying compensations when the property is destroyed as a result of calamities or exceptional situations.
The Government decided that two families from Comrat that remained without homes after last autumn’s floods will be given by 100,000 lei. The money will be allocated from the executive’s reserve fund.
Also, the Government decided to allocate financial resources for repairing the roofs of two pre-university education institutions – the school of Radoaia village of Sangerei district and the secondary school of Albota de Jos, Taraclia.
