The exam pass rate for lyceum graduates increased by 1.84 percentage points to 83.08%, for college graduates grew by 1.65 percentage points to 48.43%, while for students who didn’t pass the exams the previous sessions rose by 1.08 percentage points to only 19.74%.

After the main Baccalaureate session, there were filed over 12,000 challenges. The written and graded test papers totaled over 64,000.

According to the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment, the largest number of challenges referred to the grades in the Romanian language and literature exam – 2,408. This is the discipline with the highest number of admitted candidates.

The additional Baccalaureate session will be held during June 17-24. To take part in this session, the candidates must file an application to the Baccalaureate Center where they took the exams in the main session, during July 6-7.

The additional session is intended for candidates who got negative grades in the main session or were absent from this for well-founded reasons.
