Twenty-five of the 135 early education institutions in the municipality of Chisinau will not work for a period as from June 1 or from July. The children attending the kindergartens that will be under repair will be able to go to kindergartens situated nearby in the period, IPN reports.

Deputy mayor Angela Kutasevich, in the ordinary meeting of officials of Chisinau services, said the repair works in some of the institutions already started. A monitoring team will supervise the quality of works.

The early education institutions in summer will operate in accordance with the Education Code and with the norms for respecting the rights of children and parents so that all the children have access to education services in summer, stated the deputy mayor.

In another development, Angela Kutasevich said that public discussions on the common menu in early education institutions were held last week. This week the menu will be finalized and will be submitted to the National Public Health Center for approval.
