25 finalists of national Eurovision contest announced
Twenty-five singers and bands will compete in the national Eurovision final on February 26. The finalists were selected by an intermediary stage, where the 57 competitors chosen at the first stage sang the songs live, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from Teleradio Moldova.

Veaceslav Daniliuc, Janet Erhan, and Ianna Novac withdrew from the competition.
The winner of the national Eurovision final will represent Moldova at the 56th Eurovision Song Contest that will be held in Germany’s Düsseldorf in May. The semifinals will take place on May 10 and 12, while the final on May 14. Moldova’s representative will perform the fifth in the second semifinal, alongside Romania and Ukraine. Romania will be represented by Hotel FM with the song Change. France, Germany, Italy, the UK, and Spain qualify automatically for the final.
