A man aged 24 was arrested by the police on suspicion that he committed the triple murder in Unguri village of Ocnița district. He was discovered in a forest near Călărașeuca village of the same district, IPN reports.

The police said the man was inebriated when he was arrested. He faces up to 20 years in jail or life if he is found guilty of intentional murder.

Three bodies, two of which in a carbonized state, were found in the household of a man aged 43 from Ungur village of Ocnița district. Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Ocnița Police Inspectorate Svetlana Talpă said the police are taking measures to establish the circumstances of this case and also the identity of the victims.
