24-year-old man from Drochia district fell from the fifth floor of a building on Bogdan Voevod street in Chișinău. According to the police, the incident occurred at 10:55. The young man was involved in building insulation works.

The young man was transported to the Institute of Urgent Medicine in a serious, but stable condition.

The police informs that a criminal investigation has been initiated and that the relevant bodies will be referred in order to determine the circumstances in which the incident took place.

The Agency for Technical Supervision, which investigates work accidents, said in a press release that preliminary research showed that the young man was an unskilled worker. The provision regarding the investigation of the work accident was issued in order to establish all the facts and circumstances that led to its occurrence.

Since the beginning of August, a person died on a construction site in Durlești, falling from height. The victim was also from Drochia and was 34 years old. The man fell from the 7th floor of a building block.
