The 230 tonnes of wheat stored at warehouses until August 14 will be offered to flood victims in aid, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a communiqué, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry said that about 400,000 lei has been also collected from different companies in the specially opened account. According to the cited source, the Phytotechny Institute “Porumbeni” donated 50,000 lei, the Special Service for Active Influence on Hydrometeorological Processes – 44,000 lei, Bucuria SA – 100,000 lei, while the employees of the State Company “Moldresurse” – 44,000 lei. Tutun-CTC SA provided building materials and domestic materials worth about 500,000 lei. The collection of donations goes on.
