A woman aged 23 from Bălți died from COVID-19 on April 28, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.

The young woman was admitted to the Bălți Hospital in critical condition, with renal insufficiency and acute respiratory failure, on April 27.

Also yesterday, COVID-19 killed a woman aged 43 from Drochia and a 63-year-old man from Căușeni. The woman was admitted to the Bălți Hospital in a serious state on April 22. She suffered from anemia, diabetes and renal insufficiency. The man was taken to the hospital in Anenii Noi on April 23. He suffered from chronic glomerulonephritis and arterial hypertension.

The death toll from the novel coronavirus in Moldova now stands at 107.
