A man aged 23 was sentenced to 23 years' imprisonment for murdering a young woman, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office. The prosecutors proved that on October 11, 2008, while near a shopping center in Chisinau, the accused followed the victim up to a certain building and attacked her, stabbing her with a knife. The victim died on the spot. The offender took four golden rings from the victim's fingers, the earrings and other goods worth over 38,000 lei. The young man was also charged with robbing two young women of possessions to the value of about 8,000 lei.
