22.468,0m to be allocated to CEC for July 11 elections

The Ministry of Finance proposed allocating a sum of 22.468,0 million lei to the Central Election Commission for properly organizing the snap parliamentary elections of July 11, 2021. An announcement about the drafting of the relevant Government decision was published for public consultations, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the money will be allocated from the Government’s reserve fund.

In the middle of May, the Government allotted 70 million lei from its reserve fund to the Central Election Commission for organizing the July 11 snap parliamentary elections.

The expenditure estimate for the elections was set by the CEC at 125.046,7 million lei.
