The year 2025 will be dedicated to celebrate the work and personality of Mihai Eminescu. The legislative initiative in this regard has been approved by the Government, IPN reports.

Throughout the year will be organized actions and cultural events dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the poet's birth. The program includes a special edition of the World Congress of Eminescuologists and the Summer School for young researchers.

New editions of Eminescu's works will also be published in Romanian and in 85 other languages into which the poet's works have been translated.

Post offices will print and sell stamps, stamps and envelopes to mark the anniversary. And the media will be encouraged to run a campaign to cover the events organized on the occasion of "Mihai Eminescu Year".
