2022 Graduates Gala held in Chisinau for first time

More than 5,000 students took part in the 2022 Graduates Gala in Chsinau. The cultural-recreational event dedicated to the ninth and twelfth graders was staged in “La Izvor” Park in Buiucani district. According to the Chisinau City Hall, the event was held to stimulate, encourage and support the graduates, IPN reports.

Mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban said the students go through a new stage in life, especially those who passed the Baccalaureate exams. “Any profession you will embrace, at any university you go and no matter what you decide to do in life, I wish you to do this as well as possible and to enjoy the work you do and do it with devotion, as our teachers and parents in their areas of activity do. We wish you good luck, health and success in what you do,” stated the mayor, addressing the attending graduates.

The head of the Chisinau General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Andrei Pavaloi said the Republic of Moldova has ‘a special generation’ that experienced online learning, but can now take part in the graduation ball physically. “I’m confident that this generation that is today near us and is led and guided by our great teachers, managers will have success in life. Let you plans come true. Be successful!” stated Andrei Pavaloi.

The Chisinau City Hall organized a concert featuring the band “Zdob și Zdub” and the Orchestra of the Advahov Brothers. The students staged flashmob events and each institution sang the song “Lyceum Years”.
