Acting mayor Nistor Grozavu made an order to present the draft municipal budget for 2018 to the Chisinau Municipal Council for consideration. The draft budget provides for revenues of 3.6 billion lei, including 1.8 billion lei transfers from the state budget, and an expenditure of 3.9 billion lei, IPN reports.

The deficit of 279 million lei is to be covered with proceeds from the sale of apartments to the population, in the amount of 2 million lei, foreign financing sources of 277 million lei and internal financing sources of 150 million lei.

A sum of 149 million lei was earmarked in the 2018 municipal budget for repaying the raised loans.
