The draft budget of the municipality of Chisinau for 2015 was submitted to the Chisinau Municipal Council for approval. It provides for incomes of over 2.839 billion lei and an expenditure of 3.138 billion lei, IPN reports.

The budget deficit of almost 300 million lei will be covered with money that will be obtained from the sale or privatization of public property (projected at 57.2m lei) and with foreign financing (281m lei).

Over 39 million lei was earmarked for repaying foreign loans.
