The ninth graders speaking other languages than Romanian take the first exam of the 2014 session today, June 2. The 6,776 students sit the written exam in the Romanian language and literature. As many as 34,754 students will take secondary school graduation exams this year. On June 5, the ninth graders will take the math exam, on June 9 – the exam in the language of study, while on June 12 – the exam in the foreign language, which is the last, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué of the Ministry of Education.
On June 3, 4,348 students speaking other languages than Romanian will do the first Baccalaureate exam at 68 Baccalaureate centers, in the Romanian language and literature. On June 6, 27,604 twelfth graders, including over 6,000 students who failed the exams the previous sessions, will take the exam in the language of study.
On June 10, the twelfth graders will take the exam in the foreign language, including 11,767 students –in English, 10,922 – in French, 375 – in German, 68 – in Italian, 92 – in Spanish, while 93 – in Turkish.
On June 13, the twelfth graders will sit the specialization exam, including 13,765 students - in math, 10,076 – in the history of Romanians and the universal history, 495 – in arts, 283 – in technology, while 261 – in sport. The exam in the discipline of one’s choice will be taken on June 17.
On June 20, there will be sat the last Baccalaureate exam – in the mother tongue. A number of 160 students will take the exam in Ukrainian, 119 – in Bulgarian, while 78 – in Gagauz. The exams will be taken at 104 Baccalaureate centers. The tests will be graded at two national centers between June 3 and June 26 and the results will be posted at the Baccalaureate centers on June 27.
