2013 to be declared European Year of Citizens
2013 will be declared the European Year of Citizens by Parliament decision. Prime Minister Vlad Filat Wednesday enumerated several of the events that will be organized on this occasion. A detailed plan is to be approved by the Government in one of the next meetings, Info-Prim Neo reports.
During the year, the general public will be informed that the European integration process does not involve only the political elites, but also every Moldovan. The Premier stressed the necessity of having institutions responsible for clearly and exhaustively informing the people.
A chapter of the Action Plan will concern the structural dialogue with the young people and their social inclusion and will contain a series of measures aimed at developing the entrepreneurial abilities of the young people and at assisting them in starting businesses.
