As 2012 has been declared the Year of Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorivici, the first class of the school year will be dedicated to the topic “Doina and Ion Aldea-Teodorovici: Champions of national ideals”, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a press release of the Ministry of Education, the key concepts that will be discussed during the class are liberty, independence, sovereignty, tongue, tricolor, national consciousness, faith, motherland, patriotism, citizenship, ideal, value, courage, song, participation, change. The Ministry of Education recommends the teachers to adjust the thematic framework to the specific of each class. Teachers must show creativity and make each pupil express his or her opinion about the proposed concepts and participate in the discussion. Besides the key concepts, the framework includes variants of general topics of activity for each school grade, which should be selected, adjusted and completed by teachers.
