The Chisinau City Hall finished drafting the budget for 2011. According to the document, the expenditure will be by 66 million lei higher than the revenues, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the City Hall. The 2011 budget provides for incomes of 1.782 billion lei and an expenditure of 1.848 billion lei. The deficit is to be covered with money that will come from the sale and privatization of public property. The draft budget is to be examined by the specialized commissions of the Chisinau Municipal Council. Afterward, it will be discussed at one of the Council’s meetings. The municipal budget is approved in two readings.
