The 5th edition of the Martial Arts Festival took place on Sunday, November 19, in Chisinau. More than 200 young sportsmen attended this event. For already 5 years in row, the district office of Botanica and the Club of united martial arts organize the Martial Arts Festival – Vadim Smantana, representative of the district office, one of the organizers of the action told Info-Prim Neo. This project is initiated by the Department of youth, culture and sports of the Botanica district office. The purpose of the festival is to promote healthy lifestyle and sports among youth, especially in what concerns martial arts. Traditionally, the district office was preparing a souvenir for each martial art federation participating in the event. In this edition, each of the participant federations received a laureate cup, and all the participants received money prizes of 20 lei each. 13 federations, representing different stiles participated in this year edition.
