A girl aged 20 died in a traffic accident on Vadul lui Voda St in Chisinau’s Ciocana district in the morning of May 16. According to the Chisinau Emergency Medicine Center, another girl of the same age suffered different injuries and was admitted to the hospital, IPN reports.

Head of the press service of the Chisinau Police Division Adrian Jovmir said the 20-year-old girl driving the car lost control of the vehicle and crashed it into an electricity pole. As a result, the passenger of the same age died on the spot. Speeding is the preliminary cause of the accident.
