A man aged 20 died in the hospital after he crashed his motorcycle into a tractor on the Bărboieni-Grozești road in Nisporeni district in the afternoon of July 20.
Contacted by IPN for details, senior press officer of the Nisporeni Police Inspectorate Cristina Vicol said the tractor with trailer was driven by a man from Nisporeni district who was heading for Grozești village. When the driver turned left to enter a secondary road, the motorcycle coming from behind tried to overtake the tractor and ran into a wheel of the tractor. The motorcycle was projected under the trailer.
The young man was rushed to the Nisporeni District Hospital where he died in two hours.
The breath test showed the tractor driver wasn’t inebriated. An investigation is under way.
