Twenty general schools in Moldova will be renovated and outfitted so as to facilitate the disabled children’s access to them. The works will be financed from a grant provided by the International Development Association within the project “Integration of Children with Disabilities into General Schools,” IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Government, there will be built balustrades and replaced the doors. The teachers and parents will be trained. There will be also made engineering and architectural studies for renovating the rooms.
The project has a budget of US$2.8 million. The money is provided as a grant and Moldova makes no contribution to the project that will be completed in April 2016.
