20 Nemteni families receive keys to new homes

Twenty families from Nemteni village were handed over the keys to the new houses built by the state following this summer’s floods. The first houses were distributed to families that include invalids, elderly persons and small children, Info-Prim Neo reports. The houses have by two, three and four rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. They are connected to the natural gas and electric power supply. Prime Minister Vlad Filat assured the authorities will keep to the homebuilding schedule and all those who remained without homes as a result of floods will be provided with dwellings by winter. The street where the first houses in the new village were erected will be named Hans Peter Haselsteiner, who is one of the founders of “Concordia” Association. Hans Peter Haselsteiner said he will continue to help Moldova. A number of 220 houses were flooded in Nemteni on July 6. As many as 706 houses will be built for the flood victims from this and another three villages of Hancesti district.
