Two youths have died as other 5 got hospitalized after being hit by a minibus driven by a minor, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Interior Ministry's press service. The accident occurred last Sunday night, at 01.30, in Cocieri village, Dubasari district. According to the police, a 17-year-old boy from that village was driving the minibus “Volkswagen LT 28” being inebriated and not having a driver license. He was speeding for the village and lost control over the steering wheel, hitting a group of pedestrians on the left side of the road. As a result, two boys aged 15 and 22 died on the spot as other 5, aged 14 to 18, were hospitalized with different traumas. The driver left the accident place, but was soon tracked by local police. The minor recognized he took the car not having his father's permission. 297 car accidents were recorded this month in Moldova, killing 33 people and injuring 266.
