As many as 2 934 017 ballots will be printed for the presidential elections of November 1. A decision to this effect was taken by the Central Election Commission (CEC) on October 17, IPN reports.
CEC secretary Maxim Lebedinschi said that this figure does not include the ballots set to be provided to the polling stations that will be established outside Moldova’s borders.
Earlier, the CEC decided that 556,000 ballots will be printed for the 139 polling stations that will be established abroad.
When the procedure for updating the electoral rolls was completed, the State Register of Voters of Moldova included 3 287 140 persons with the right to vote.
