The children’s summer holiday is over. In Chisinau, about 19,000 children spent time in camps this summer, Info-Prim Neo reports. Head of the general division for education, youth and sport Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb told Tuesday’s City Hall meeting that the children’s summer holidays passed without incidents and could be graded as “good”. As regards pre-school education, the reopening of kindergartens previously closed for capital or current repairs begins today. Nearly 60 of the 153 kindergartens were closed during summer. 12 of them reopened today and the others will follow in the coming days.
