Nineteen kiosks were taken away from Tighina St of Chisinau so as to free place for building a pay parking lot there. The other kiosks situated in the area will also be dismantled and removed, IPN quoted deputy mayor of Chisinau Inga Ionesii as saying.

According to the official, the business entities should realize that the City Hall has the right to perform such repair works. The Central Square is ready to examine the applications and to offer places in the market to companies running kiosks on Tighina St.

The building of a pay parking lot on Tighina St forms part of the plan to develop the Central Market that was presented in mid-May.
