The Public Services Agency has launched the piloting of 19 civil status services available on the new electronic services development platform that was designed in cooperation with the e-Governance Agency, IPN reports.
Through the agency of the new platform, the citizens will be able to apply online for the following civil status services: certificate/duplicate/extract from birth, marriage, death, divorce, name and/or surname change certificate, certificate/duplicate for establishing paternity, etc.
To apply online for the given civil status services through the agency of the new platform, the beneficiary needs a digital signature that will be used in the authentication and signing of the application. The process of filing the application is much easier as most of the spaces are already completed with the applicant’s personal data available in different information systems.
The new platform enables the applicants to order civil status services in their name and in the name of relatives or authorized persons.
Currently, the civil status documents ordered online can be obtained by applicants only on paper. The documents can be collected from the multifunctional center chosen when the order is placed or can be received directly to the indicated address, using the government delivery service MDelivery.
The civil status services ordered online are provided for money and are paid through the government e-payment gateway MPay, using any payment instrument of one’s choice, such as bank card, internet banking, cash and digital currency.
