As many as 803 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are in a serious state in the hospital and 44 of them were put on a ventilator. The total number of infections rose to over 73,300, 17,700 of which are active cases. 6,800 persons are receiving treatment at home, having mild forms of COVID-19, while 24,400 are under supervision at home, IPN reports.

A number of 861 new infections with the novel coronavirus were confirmed in Moldova today. There were done 3,632 tests, 3,256 of which were primary ones, while 376 were rerun ones. Of those confirmed with the infection today, 56 are healthcare workers.

Nineteen persons died and the death toll from COVID-19 thus rose to 1,700.

Another 615 persons were treated and discharged from the hospital.
