A boy aged 17 was found in the shaft of an elevator hanging upside down with one leg blocked by the cable that takes the elevator up and down. It happened at a company in Chisinau's Ciocana district. Employees of the company took the teen out and called an ambulance. Anatol Proca, coordinating doctor of the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the boy was taken to Valentin Ignatenco Hospital in a traumatic shock and with a crush syndrome. The police are investigating the incident. A 25-year-old woman was discovered dead near a wall on Liviu Rebreanu St. She fell asleep after drinking alcohol together with her mother. The cause of death is being established. A family consisting of five persons got poisoned with mushrooms that they picked up in the forest. They felt sick last night and called an ambulance, but refused hospitalization. The Chisinau ambulance teams on Thursday, May 28, dealt with 673 calls, including 85 cases of trauma, 53 cases of acute viral infection, six strokes and 21 deliveries.
