17 producers can resume export of fruit to Russia

Russia lifted the ban on the export of fruit for 17 Moldovan fruit producers. The export can be resumed on August 7, IPN reports.

The announcement about the lifting of the restrictions was published on the website of the Russian phytosanitary service Rosselkhoznadzor on August 6. The exports of the 17 companies will be guaranteed by the National Food Safety Agency of Moldova, in an ‘extended trial’ regime. The 17 producers can export apples, plums, pears, quinces, apricots, cherries, peaches, nectarines and sloes.

The given companies are: “Agro-Sadim” SRL, “Bașkalean Agro” SRL, “Bizim Eri” SRL, “LPK Pmpex” SRL, “Celepen Agro” SRL, “Cafadar” SRL, “TRESOR” SA, “KairIm”, “Eniija”, “Cebotari”, “Agrosolidax” SRL, “Ghevlandri” SRL, “Nezetli Iuzum” SRL, “Speranta” SRL, “Kelehbar” SRL, “Ghelen Agro” SRL, “Edinji Alians” SRL.

The export of fruit to Russia on a trial basis was resumed in June following a visit paid by inspectors of Rosselkhoznadzor to Moldova between May 29 and June 1.
